This is part one of a two-part article for Step #1.  Today, we will discuss why assessing your personal skills is the first step toward attaining entrepreneurial success.

If you’re thinking about going into business and being your own boss, then you’re not alone. However, entrepreneurship is not for everyone. Many who took this path failed. Those who succeeded were the ones who took the time to seriously prepare themselves before jumping in on the entrepreneurial bandwagon.

ReputationIf negative comments about your business appear online, there are a few things you can do to reduce the potential damage.  For blogs, contact the person who wrote the post and ask him/her to remove it.  Individual bloggers often are willing to remove posts to avoid the possibility of negative publicity.  You may want to hire a firm that specializes in repairing a company's image online.
