Website traffic.jpgWebsite traffic increase is one of the major concerns of small business owners. If you are serious about your web presence and are looking for more people to learn about your business, then you need to boost website traffic.

Create good, interesting and fresh content

Content is king!  While this may be an overused cliché, very few people pay real attention to what the words really mean.  If your goal is to increase traffic for your website, then you’ve got to provide quality content.

Creating solid content that is updated regularly ensures website traffic increase.  Good content not only improves website traffic, but also stimulates repeat business.

Employ a user-friendly design and layout

Visitors are easily turned off by a hard-to-navigate website.  Even if you have great content, if your layout is hard on the eye or confusing, your visitors won’t stay very long on your site.  Worse yet, they may not even come back.

If you don’t have an eye for esthetics, get expert help.  This is one investment on your part that can go a long way in keeping your visitors and customers happy.

leverage technology.jpgAt the rate at which technology is improving today, small firms are now able to make their voice heard.  Technology leveled the playing fields and has become a great equalizer for small businesses, regardless of the size of your business; the technological tools used are the same.

One of the greatest hurdles for many new entrepreneurs regarding technology is lack of knowledge of its effected use for business growth.

In an era where information is king, it is of paramount importance that you learn how to leverage technology to your advantage.  The sooner you are able to do that, the better chances you’ll have of beating business rivals and making your small business grow.

When You Spend Money on Technology, Think of It as an Investment and not as Cost

Most small business owners tend to think of technology only as something they don’t need to spend money on unless they really have to.  This is a big mistake!

If you want to become the owner of a successful and thriving small business enterprise, you need to re-evaluate your priorities and start thinking of technology as an investment that can help you take your business to the next level.

Investing in and leveraging technology can help you save money and time, and allows your business to develop and grow.

cloud computing.jpgAs an entrepreneur, you are always thinking of how to develop better strategies to attain your ultimate goal of making your company grow, and sustaining that growth.

Does your business development strategy include technology planning?

Sadly, many small business owners give little thought to strategic planning of technology and the management of their technology.  Unfortunately, this oversight in planning will have an adverse affect on the cost of doing business as well as to curtail a company's profitable growth.

For startups and small companies, skipping technology planning can be fatal.  It has less to do with picking the wrong technology than with paying way too much for the chosen technology.  It’s far less costly -- and a lot safer for you -- if you start with cloud computing or Software as a Service.  This allows you to make inexpensive mistakes and gain experience from those mistakes as you plan your strategy.

Starting with cloud computing or SaaS conserves cash flow because:
