Are you a leader?

Being the owner of a business doesn’t automatically make you one.  Good leaders are made, not born.  You have to work at it.  Developing your leadership skills is key to your business success.  It’s never too late to start. If you put your heart and mind to it, you can become an effective leader, one who is able to inspire people to accomplish great things.

So what is a leader?
John Quincy Adams said “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”

A leader is anyone who inspires people to do their job. True leaders do not dictate what others should do, but rather they work with people, help them focus and make decisions, and take appropriate actions.

In other words, leaders motivate people to accomplish organizational goals.
